Founded in 2008, we have offices in Los Angeles, California and Telluride, Colorado. Polished Fun is committed to reinventing the conventional event.
Raised in Telluride, Colorado Amy Palamar Puckett grew up working alongside her mother producing concerts and events. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara Amy worked in Los Angeles in film production. She moved to New York City to pursue her dreams of being a producer. While living in NYC, Amy was lucky enough to work with some of the most prominent people in fashion serving as producer for Allure magazine. She established her own production firm, produced fashion shows for NYFW and benefit events at world renowned venues such as The Apollo theater. In 2008, she started Polished Fun, a boutique destination event planning firm and that focuses on creating one of a kind events. With over 15 years experience in destination event planning and production Amy thrives on thinking outside of the box and scouting for the perfect location. She gravitates aesthetically to a ‘modern organic’ approach with the intention for the design to showcase the beautiful view or natural surroundings. It is Amy’s goal that every element of your event will reflect your personality, your life and style.
When Amy is not onsite planning weddings, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband Wes and their beautiful daughter Elle!
Philosophy
It is essential part of our philosophy that we share in the same vision as our clients, therefore we spend the necessary time getting to know each and every one we work with. We serve as the Project Manager and oversee every single element along the way, perfecting every last detail, in the end resulting in a thoroughly planned and consistent event.
We pride ourselves on cultivating well-rounded custom events that are unique to each and every client. Our goal is to compliment the client’s vision and style with fresh ideas and an effortless approach; presenting concepts pulled from current art, fashion and interior design.
We work as a team offering the highest level of attention in order to remain consistent with the best quality work. Polished Fun only takes a handful of full planning projects per year to ensure exceptional service.
Giving Back
We live in a busy world beautiful world and feel it’s important to give back. For the majority of our destination events we use vendors that source locally. We try and keep the event as local as possible to support each area’s farmers and artisans. When possible, we repurpose or donate items from each event to the client’s local charity of choice. We think about our impact when planning and designing the event to ensure we are not using “more” than we should.
Born and raised in Telluride, Keenan has a deep love for being surrounded by beauty! She studied Fine Arts at Colorado State University and has a background in all things social media, marketing, photography, and design. Keenan loves a great table design and has a deep love for color theory! She has dabbled in floral design, and photography, but fell in love with planning and production while working for Amy. She has worked alongside Amy for the past 9+ years as an assistant planner and producer for weddings and events in Colorado, California, Mexico and beyond. She has wonderful organizational skills and has amazing attention to detail. Believe it or not, but Keenan LOVES a good napkin fold. She thrives in high paced environments and does well under stress, which makes her a perfect event planner.
When she’s not working at Polished Fun you can find Keenan teaching yoga & barre, spending time with friends, doing calligraphy and design, or playing with her dog Phoebe—almost always with a coffee in hand.
